Apex Legends is an online multiplayer battle royale game featuring squads of three players using pre-made Legends with distinctive abilities, similar to those of hero shooters. Apex takes place in an immersive universe where the story continues to evolve, maps change each season, and new Legends keep joining the fight.

Lead Software Engineer
Currently lead technical direction of Live Content team on Apex and am reponsible for managing the engineering efforts of our engineering group. Influence feature scoping, resourcing, alignment, and scheduling with our Product team and stakeholders.
Senior Software Engineer
Improved our player messaging by adding the capability for deeplinking and integrating Unified Messaging into Apex Legends to allow for the personalization of messaging based on segments based on player telemetry. Integrated a code redemption service with the game so players can redeem codes from Monster Energy Drinks and other promotions to receive in-game items. Increased Marketing flexibility to give items and generate codes which can be used in many partnerships going forward.
Joined the Apex team a couple months before launch. Implementated dpad navigation for all of the game's menus (previously Destiny cursor-like menu interactions only) before launch. Added a controller rebinding menu shortly after shipping due to high demand from our console playerbase. Built in several accessibility options and quality of life improvements to our in-game settings.
Transitioned to working on the in-game store and built an image downloading system to fetch our store images on the fly without needing to client patch the game. Improved and built upon our initial store MTX systems. Added support for selling bundles instead of only single-item store offers. Built an in-game store page to highlight our legend editions sold via 1st party storefronts. Triaged and fixed numerous live issues over the years. Ranging from issues related to first party entitlements, Belgium legal compliance for lootboxes, Japanese Currency Expiration legal compliance work, MTX support for crossplay, and telemetry additions for targetted messaging.
